Registration & Immunization
It is critical that the School is notified immediately of any changes in name, address, phone number, or any other information provided at the time of registration. Please contact the office to make any necessary changes.
Hoversound College comply with all Federal and State laws concerning pupil and students’ records. Information regarding a pupil or student’s progress will be shared only with parents or guardians and appropriate members of the School’s faculty, staff and any professional consultants retained for the purpose of measuring and/or improving instructional quality.
People and groups interested in our programmes may visit the School. If for any reason, you do not wish to have your child photographed, videotaped or otherwise contacted by the media, please inform the School Office in writing.
Class Grouping
Elementary School
At Hoversound College pupils are placed on the basis of age and must have attained the ages stated below by the first day of September in the year of registration
Reception 1 – 18 months
Reception 2 – 2 years
Nursery 1 – 3 years
Nursery 2 – 4 years
Grade 1 – 5 years
Grade 2 – 6 years
Grade 3 – 7 years
Grade 4 – 8 years
Grade 5 – 9 years
Grade 6 – 10 years
College
At Hoversound College, a student coming into JS1 must be 10 years by the first day of September of the academic session.
In the case of transfer students, such a child must have attained the ages stated below for the respective classes, by the first day of September of the academic session.
JS2 – 11 years
JS3 – 12 years
SS1 – 13 years
SS2 – 14 year
Admission Procedure
Thank you for your interest in Hoversound College
Step 1
Obtain an admission form for N20,000 (Twenty Thousand Naira) only
Step 2
Fill out and return the completed form with
- Child’s recent passport photographs (2)
- Parents’ recent passport photographs (1 each)
- Last school report (for children already in school)
- Photocopy of immunization record
- Photocopy of child’s birth certificate
Step 3
Child is scheduled for a placement assessment
Step 4
Parents and child are scheduled for an interview
Step 5
Child’s admission letter is issued
